Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about getting started with in-home care. If you don’t see your question here, call (203) 504-0011 or email info@laveitchhomecare.com.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Bridgeport and provide non-medical in-home care. If you’re unsure whether we cover your town, contact us and we’ll confirm availability.
How do we get started?
Start by submitting the Request Care form, call (203) 504-0011 or email info@laveitchhomecare.com. We’ll learn about your needs, answer questions, and schedule a consultation to help match you with the right caregiver and schedule.
What services can a caregiver help with?
We provide non-medical home care such as companionship, homemaker support, personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), meal preparation, respite care, hospital to home care and non-medical transportation.
How does scheduling work?
Care can be scheduled based on your routine—weekdays, weekends, daytime, evenings, overnight or 24/7 —depending on your plan of care and caregiver availability.
Are caregivers screened and trained?
Yes. Caregivers are screened before placement. We focus on reliability, professionalism, and a good fit for your loved one’s needs and preferences.
What are your minimum hours and payment options?
Minimum hours and rates can vary by schedule and location. We’ll review options with you during intake. We accept private pay; if you have long-term care insurance, we can provide documentation to support your claim.
